Membership Information

The Maryland Choral Society members consist of volunteers from the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Many ensemble members are trained or professional musicians and music educators. We are always happy to accept new members and encourage you to come join this group of people who enjoy making music and spending time together.

The Choral Society rehearses weekly on Monday evenings from 7:15 to 9:30 in Fort Washington, MD. Rehearsals for each concert season begin the first Monday following Labor Day and run through May of the following year.

Ensemble member obligations include:
• Dues (currently $100 per concert season, or prorated accordingly)
• Purchase of music scores
• Purchase of performance attire (tuxedos for men, long dresses and pearls for women)
• Participation in fundraising activities
• Adherence to attendance policy
