Support MCS
Our work at the MCS is as much about community as it is about the chorus. The Maryland Choral Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which raises much of the operating funds through ticket sales, fundraisers, individual donations, and business/corporate patrons. All donations are tax-deductible and are greatly appreciated.
MCS depends upon the following contributions in order to thrive. Please consider supporting MCS this season!
Student Scholarship Program
The MCS Scholarship Program allows talented student singers to participate in the Chorus and covers all of the costs associated with membership, including dues, music purchases, and a small stipend toward purchasing concert attire. Participants in the scholarship program will have the opportunity to participate in a day-long choral retreat. In addition to singing and socializing, students will also hear presentations (offered by Dr. Giarusso and invited guests) on choral singing, conducting and music history.

Grant Support
The Maryland Choral Society is supported by a grant from the Maryland State Arts Council, an agency dedicated to cultivating a vibrant cultural community where the arts thrive, and by the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency which believes that a great nation deserves great art.
